Kristen Saksa Juen is an Austin based artist working across ceramics, cyanotype, and site based practices.

My creative practice is rooted in a deep connection with the natural world and a desire to understand place. Grounded in sustained observation and repeated return to place, this work cultivates close attention to the sensory beauty and complexity of landscapes through cycles of making and reflection.

Through this practice, I seek to spark curiosity about the living systems that surround us, fostering wonder that draws people closer to the living world and deepens a sense of belonging within it. My work continues to evolve, always returning to questions of place, perception, and presence.
